I always had different interests than most people I went to school with - music being one of them.
If you told me five years ago that I would be here making a website, active as heck on social media, and posting videos of myself, I would laugh!
Country music has always been a large part of my life. Despite being a big fan of 90's - early 2000's pop, I am a country boy at heart. I listened to it before it was cool. Seriously, how many 4th grader's out there were listening to Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, Alabama, and Hank Williams Jr.? I watched country music change and become so full of pop and get farther from what I had first started listening too.
Admittedly I fell into the bro-country trap early on because country had become stale on mainstream radio. That was short lived however, because in 2011 I stumbled into Texas Country. Now it's all I listen to along with some outlaw country and Americana. It's my goal to share it and help spread it from New England, and be the gatekeeper to help artists gain exposure as I grow my brand: Pitstop for Country.
